Meet Dr. Sonya Daley

Dr. Sonya Daley is known for her personalized, caring, and gentle approach. She treats all her patients as if they were her family or best friend. She loves to get to know her patients.

Dr. Daley has wanted to be a dentist since she was 5 years old. Her childhood dentist was kind enough to hire her at the young age of 14 to work in his office and her future professional aspirations were solidified. She attended Wilkes University for her undergraduate degree.

She pursued her D.M.D. from Temple University School of Dentistry. She was actively involved in many organizations during her higher education, including ASDA, Stomatognathic Honor Society, Endodontics Honor Society, Oral Surgery Honor Society, Progaming Board, etc. She continues to be an avid learner completing countless hours of continuing education each year, as well as being a member of the ADA, AGD, Seattle Study Club, and local dental society.

Dr. Daley lives in Hilltown, PA with her family. Her husband, Mike, is a pediatric dentist. They do not practice together because as they tell everyone they prefer to stay married. They have 2 daughters, Sophrina and Lyra. Their girls keep them very busy acting as Uber drivers to soccer, basketball, field hockey, and church groups. In her free time, Dr. Daley loves to cook, bake, exercise, spend time with family, read and travel. They love to visit new places, try new foods, and experience different cultures whenever they can.

Next time you are in, please share your favorite recipe or travel tip with me. I love to try new things.

I have been in dentistry since 1985. I worked as a dental assistant in the Lehigh Valley for over 20 years before joining Dr. Daley's team in 2008. Since joining Daley Dental, I have become a dental insurance specialist, financial secretary, and office manager.

I have lived in Emmaus most of my life. I have been married to my husband, Jim for over 23 years. I have 2 daughters, Amanda, who passed away at the age of 30 in 2020 from a rare form of melanoma, and Ashlee who lives in Orefield with her husband, Adam, and their son, Logan. I also have a gorgeous golden retriever named Chase.

My husband's love of birds is often a topic of conversation at the office. Next time you see me, quiz me on how well I know them or how well I listen to Jim.

I have been a dental assistant since 1999. I enjoy getting to talk and laugh with the patients and helping them feel comfortable during and after their dental treatment. I love seeing the smiles on my patients faces after dental treatment!

When I'm not at the office, I enjoy watching movies, reading, going to the beach, and spending time with my boyfriend, Joe, my family, and friends.

Dr. Daley will tell you that I am the best at naming actors and actresses in movies and shows. Next time you see me, see if you can stump me.

After always loving dental visits, I decided to pursue a career in dental hygiene. I graduated from Northampton Community College. I love getting to know my patients, as well as making them feel comfortable in the dental chair.
I live in Quakertown, where I grew up. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, painting, and of course spending time with my friends and family.

I am Dr. Daley's go to book recommendation person. Let me know your favorite book next time I clean your teeth.

I joined Daley Dental in October of 2020. I graduated from Montgomery County Community College, where I earned a A.A.S. in dental hygiene and local anesthesia. I was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. My favorite thing about dental hygiene is the relationships I get to build with my patients and helping them improve their oral health.

When I'm not at Daley Dental, you will most likely find me and my husband, Mike, on the sidelines of the soccer field. I have 2 daughters, Hailey and Kiley who have been playing soccer for many years. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family and completing house projects.

Being a soccer parent means racking up a lot of miles on the car over the weekend. Next time you're in my chair, ask me how many places I traveled to last weekend and I may shock you.
